THE RAY MARTIN STORY

Ray Martin was the Leader of the Alberta NDP and the Leader of the Opposition in the Alberta Legislature from 1984 to 1993. He ran for Premier three times and served four terms as an MLA as well as two terms as an Edmonton Public School Board trustee. He was also and educator through the '60s, '70s and early '80s.

John Ashton was trained in creative and expository writing as part of his education at the University of Windsor. He is a veteran campaign NDP manager and has worked on 25 election campaigns in six provinces. He currently serves as an Executive Director for an industry association in Edmonton. This is his first book.   

The book also includes an introduction by Alberta Premier Rachel Notley, who has known Ray since her childood.
